2017 Earth Day Event (for Gr.1~6)

Dear all ,

April 22nd is World Earth Day. In order to let our children pay more attention to the world they are living in, I would like to invite you and your students to join the coastal clean-up event. The school will not provide transportation to the event so if students wish to join the event, parents are requested to take them there. Clean up place: NanLiao

Schedule for the day:

         8:30-9:00  Assemble

         9:00-10:30  Coastal clean-up event

         10:30-  Go home

Important Notice:

1. Please wear appropriate clothes, pants and hats. We suggest wearing closed toe shoes such as rain boots or sneakers. Don’t wear slippers or sandals.
2. Please wear masks+gloves and bring clippers+trash bags/bins for trash collection.
3. Bring your reusable water bottle so as to not create more waste. Bring a backpack for your personal belongings.
4. Please work in groups of at least two people. Don’t try to move huge trash by yourself. Be aware of glass, nails, and other sharp things.
5. Stay away from the sea and be aware of the tide. Don’t step on/hurt any animals or plants on the beach.
6. If the event is cancelled due to the weather, information will be posted on the IBSH website. 

Green & Blue Cards

    The eye examination and body development results as green card and blue card. They are distributed in these days(maybe today or tomorrow). Please follow the instruction as below, and submit them to homeroom teacher before next Wednesday(April 19^th).

Red imported fire ants emergency

Dear all,

     There are red imported fire ants show up in/outside of our campus. General affairs office put the white boards as mark of ants nests. Most of them are located near the wall or on the grassland. Some has shown near the intersection of Jieshou Rd. and Yuanqu 1^st Rd. (right hand side of front gait).

Please remind students don't go the white board places until the boards are cleared. Thank you~

    These cards are the general check for every semester, The records start from last year (2015 or 104 ) ~ the previous records are stored Health Center only, so it's empty on the cards~

Green Card(Eye Examination Results)

If it shows ■達標準(meet standard), just sign on the report card.

If it shows ■就醫檢查(treatment), please go to hospital or clinic for further examination, and ask the doctor to sign on the report card. If there is medical certificate, attach it to the report card.

Blue Card (Special Disease Survey Card and Development Card)

1.If it shows ■過輕 ■適中■過重■肥胖(body size), just sign your name on the report card, If it shows■身高生長停滯, please go to hospital or clinic for further examination..

2.Special Disease Survey: Check if you have disease on the card, and check your status of the disease. ■正常 ■治療中■已痊癒, then sign below the status.

Gr. 1 and 4 Health Examination

Dear parents:

   The health examination for Grade 1 and 4 students is required by the government.  Hsin-Sheng-Hsing Hospital will conduct the health check this year.

Gr. 7 Health Check

Gr.7 students

26th October(Wed), we will hold the health check in the new gym.  Here are some important reminders.  Please read the following instruction very carefully

1. 10/25(Tue.) : At night, please do NOT take any medicine which contains vitamin C.  Please do NOT drink any drinks with sugar.(coke, juice and so on)
2. If you have to take the medicine of chronic diseases, just do it. (If you are a diabetes, please bring the medicine to school, and take it before/after your breakfast)
3. Do NOT eat anything or drink milk after midnight on 10/25(Tue.).  You can’t eat anything until you finish the blood test.
4. 10/26(Wed.) morning, please do NOT eat breakfast.  Please prepare your breakfast and bring it to the new gym.  You can have your breakfast after you finish the blood test.
5. You should arrive at the new Gym before 7:30 on 10/26(Wed.).

     Influenza（also called flu）is a respiratory illness caused by influenza virus causing illness in people. The symptoms of influenza infection in people include fever, upper respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat or runny nose), headache, muscle aches, joint pain and fatigue. Most people infected with the flu can recover within a week without treatment, but few people may develop pneumonia and other health complications that could lead to death.

Dear parents and students,

    Three vaccines are available to prevent the human papillomavirus (HPV) types that cause most cervical cancers as well as some cancers of the anus, vulva (area around the opening of the vagina), vagina, and oropharynx (back of throat including base of tongue and tonsils). Two of these vaccines also prevent HPV types that cause most genital warts. HPV vaccines are given in 3 shots over 6 months.

(This is only for girl students whose Residence address located in Hsin-chu city! )

Gr.10 Health examination

Gr.10 Notice

1.       9/26 students can eat breakfast,please eat before 10:00.

2.       Health check items include:

1) Body height, weight 

2) physical examination

3) Blood pressure 

4) Urine analysis 

5) Chest X-ray

3.       For urine analysis, don’t drink any drinks with sugar and/or take medicine that contain Vitamin C on the night before.

4.       Take a shower to keep the body clean!!

5.       Brush teeth in the morning!

6.       Wear loose fitting clothing. Don’t wear tight clothing.

7.       For chest, abdomen, and genital check, doctors may make contact with the body (either by the doctor or the doctor’s equipment, ie. stethoscope), according to the doctor’s professional judgment. If necessary, students may be asked to remove their pants. For the sake of their privacy, there will be a screen set up behind which the check will be conducted. There will be professional nurses on standby if assistance is needed.

8.       Be sure to be here on the day of the check.
